Dear Friend,
The Friends of the Slovenian National Home was established in 1987 as a volunteer support organization. In May of 1989, Friends of the Slovenian National Home Inc. was classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt non-profit organization under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Federal Income Tax Code.
Since the inception of the Friends organization, the goal has been to care for the Slovenian National Home as a cultural landmark. Friends has held various fundraising activities and has actively solicited annual membership to raise monies to renovate the auditorium, update the heating and air conditioning system and restore the beautiful Gaspari Curtain. Recently the Friends of the Slovenian National Home, Inc. has made major contributions to the Slovenian National Home to assist in the costly renovations which made our hall ADA Compliant by adding new entrance and restrooms. The beautification of the stage front, made possible from the generosity of a donor, manages to make the hall more outstanding than ever before. This was all done through the efforts of volunteers.
As a result of continuous generosity and dedication of our members, funds become available to update and maintain our cultural landmark. A gift in any amount is always greatly appreciated. Also, remember your dues and donations to Friends are fully tax-deductible!
